Bidra med feedbackWe were hungry and were not in Ocoee for a while, so decided to take a proposal from an employee from a nearby business. The restaurant is located at the corner of the Plaza and has 2 sections (from the bar and larger tables area.) It is decorated as Tex Mex restaurant and the stand where we sat was comfortable. The menu is somewhat limited, but you get a good mix of Tex Mex flavors. Jalexis our server was attentive, friendly, often checked for us and answered all the questions we had. This makes the meal more pleasant. Our food tasted good, it was made to order, quality ingredients, good taste, good portions and entrees contain sides and tortillas. The Tinga Poblana missed a bit of chipotle taste, but it was good. We ordered the Sangria (breakfast, full fruit, red,) Queso Fundido, Sopa de Pollo bowl (closes with rice), Ensalada de Nopal (cactus salad, really good) and the Beff Tinga Poblana. I've known San Jose for years and never made it a trip for some reason. We will be back and/or try their other locations.
Friday night dinner. We stayed in this restaurant before and after previous experience, back. Our experience at this time was not so good. I'll say the salsa was very good, but that's where it ends, everything else was just okay. The prices were too high for the dishes. Combo Fajita (Chicken/Beef) $18.95 a 1oz side of the acid cream was a Buck, why? I expected a spicy dish with lots of meat, onions and peppers. has about 6 ounces. Dish lack of spices, like Cumin. Flavors were just gone. I don't like moderate reviews, but that was my experience. The only other thing I'm going to say is maybe that they can offer low carb flour tortillas as an option for those who need to count carbs. That could be a differentiator. Here are some pictures of our meal. I would be interested in your comments to see if your experience is different.
Great Fajitas, great Margaritas. Our server was attentive and sharp. The service was fast. Portions were big and we left more than satisfied. Will definitely be back.
I think our waiter had a bad day? that we all have not to blame. But then the food. That was the icing on the cake. I had better Fajitas from a Taco Cabana. Steak was tasteless and bland. The tortillas must be mission brand or similar. My toddler chicken nuggets were the best part of our dinner.
Good customer service. My favorite thing was the chips and salsa and strawberry. My food was okay I feel like it was missing spices for a Mexican restaurant just my honest opinion. I definitely would come back try something else.
