Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Ocoee

A relatively new location, I come from Louisiana, so I was happy to have a Popeyes in Ocoee to satisfy this nostalgia from time to time. This place always has a line around the building. You haven't given orders yet, so I'm probably going back.

Got our order for spicy chicken tenders slightly wrong in that they definitely were the plain tenders instead. Biscuits were delicious as always, but I will never understand not having butter available for them? Different strokes I guess?

This experience was horrible. Ordered 131 of food to be quoted 15 mins and food took 30mins. When asked how much longer they stated they didn't know. Why others around me were getting there order 1st and leaving as I had ordered before them. The gentleman stated oh yes.things have been taken out of order and they were busy... Really. I arrived first and have waited over 10 mins before anyone else came and parked next to me to wait. This is unexceptionable customer service and they didn't care about my concern nor when I asked for assistance. And I had to question them after waiting 30 mins

Well since the people here are all very nice and I would say 60% of the time the food is good I'm not going to leave them one star. But I will say this particular visit was definitely a one-star! The chicken had been sitting for so long it was shriveled and dried up so badly it took an hour for me to chew it LOL. And I asked for mashed potatoes with no gravy and they gave me about half of a normal side dish. You could have built a house with the brick they called a biscuit. I wish they would put out a sign like Krispy Kreme that tells you when they are frying chicken so you can get it fresh because honestly I think this stuff had been sitting for HOURS.

Nice Popeyes location. We decided to try this in search of some fried chicken and biscuits for a true Southern experience. Their sweet tea is made to perfection and food was overall hot. The service could have been better, the lady at the front register had no customer service skills. She was rude in some ways and just not professional. Overall, this is another Popeyes that delivers on their style of food and the location is clean with plenty of seating.
