Nathan's Famous Oceanside (2807 Long Beach Road)

Food review followed by location review Philly cheese steak in terms of flavor was good not too overpowering, but hard to chew on if you are older or have teeth problems, so I would Recomended asking them to toast the bread the meat was also a bit hard to chew on. I enjoyed it but I can see how some people would have a hard time eating it. But !! They put a good amount of everything. Some places cheap out on the meat onions and cheese this place does not. Their Popcorn shrimp was definitely better than POPEYES. It was crunchy yet juicy on the inside. No complains on their chilly cheese dog or their bacon hot dog, both options where delicious. Their Oreo shake was not overwhelming and it was creamy so its a good option if you don’t want something super sweet. As for the Old fashion lemonade it left you wanting something more. So I would probably choose something else. Finally their Hell’s Kitchen burger !!! 10/10 recommend not to spicy super juicy flavorful it was so good! just eat it don’t worry about the mess honestly I would come back just for the burger. It was my first time eating at this location. They have a self check out kiosk but it crashed for me and my girlfriend. Luckily the staff was really friendly when we went to the line. We went on a Thursday which was really busy because of their 5 cent hot dogs (ask the workers). The location has a very back in time aesthetic feel to it, considering its been around for like 117 years. Bathroom was very clean which i was happy about. Overall we paid $45 for a Philly cheese stake, chili dog , bacon dog, Hell’s Kitchen burger (by far the best burger I have had in some time) super crunchy and juicy pop corn shrimp, water bottle, old fashion lemonade and an Oreo shake. I gave it a 4 star because there’s always room for improvement, but I will be visiting this location pretty often. They also left me some actual coupons I’ll definitely be using. Unlike some places where they give you coupons you know you will never use. Also if you still play Pokémon it has 3 pokestops. Overall 4 stars just because of what I explained and the price was worth it honestly.

The service was good, the food was fresh and the place was clean. The parking can be a bit of a situation, but otherwise no complaints. This was my first time at Nathan's and I have no complaints.

Food: 3 Affordability: 3 Customer Service: 4 Location/ Parking: 4 Cleanliness: 4 We visited this popular food establishment in Coney island this weekend, while we were visiting the nearby beach boardwalk. They have self checkout or staff available to take your order. The cashier made a mistake and over charged me two bottles of water, so I had to get the manager involved to resolve this issue. The food itself was just average and very overpriced. Both my spouse and I were not impressed with our chill cheese hotdog or seafood platter. Both items came out hot but were not seasoned very well. I'm glad we gave them a try, but I'm positive that we wouldn't return for another visit anytime soon.

Arrived at restaurant at 4:40 pm. It was empty. My wife and I placed an order to stay and went to a table. After 15 minutes with no food, my wife approached the manager to see what was happening. She was offered no apology, and the manager told her that they were waiting on the onion rings. I know that was not true, because I had seen them place the basket of onion rings on the service counter at least 5 minutes prior. Sure enough, when we finally got our food a minute or two later, the onion rings were cold. As a matter of fact, the warmest items we were served were the shakes. I have frequented this restaurant for years, and never had a bad experience like this. Maybe it 's new management. It is a shame; I used to enjoy that restaurant very much. They will not see me there again....

They get a star for being open. Philly Cheesesteak was dark, burnt, not cheesy, could barely see the onions, bread was dark and burnt as well. Onion rings were burnt and many disintegrated. Ended up throwing 2 meals out. The burger was decent and so were the fries, however the oil needs to be changed as there was an after taste. I tried to call the store to let them know and it just rang and I then got voice-mail. Very Disappointed, the old Nathan's location/food was far better.
