Mia Modern Traditional Italian

Who knew such a hidden gem was right near me all this time? Mia is a casual BYOB Italian restaurant in Oceanport. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed Veal Saltimbocca. Definitely try Mia!

It was getting late, maybe why this review will be just average. This is a family place where you take grandma/grandpa,the kids and the grandkids plus a few cousins to dinner. Strictly Italian food here sans the pizza. It 's pizzaless. There is a shortage of waitstaff. I must be more patient, yet my friend was very. Food was decent. Butter was frozen and the Italian bread wasn 't real Italian. Veal Francese was decent, though small. The penne was toooo al dente . The lobster/crab ravioli were excellent. Felt rushed.

First time there and last. Sat for 25 min. Was totally ignored by waitress . Never got bread or water and had to ask for a menu. Table of 6 sat down after us had bread and water before us. We got up and left.

I was with a group of 11 adults. We all liked our food. The service was excellent. I especially must comment on how they accommodated my food allergy. We will definitely be back again.

This is a small low key hidden gem that we have now visited twice. Four stars for very good food and absolutely delicious bread! All chicken dishes we have tried have been great! But I'd like to mention the decor as a negative. Weird cheap fluorescent lighting as well as strings of lights all around, tacky fake flowers, and an oddly placed bar (in a BYOB) that seems to just collect junk on it. If the owners would clean up the design and make this more sophisticated it has so much potential.
