Bidra med feedbackBEST donuts around!!! The raspberry filled is incredibly!
Had cream filled and it was good. Not as fantastic as most small bakeries, but better than grocery market donuts.
The donuts are good but I don’t understand why they are over $16 for 12 regular glazed donuts. They do not cost nowhere near that to make them if they would lower the price they would have that much more people coming through them to get donuts more often.
I interviewed for a job here. At the time, I was living an hour and a half away. While I was making the drive, I spoke to Courtney, one of their HR people, to confirm it.When I arrived, in spite of having confirmed the interview, I was told that the GM wasn 't in that day. I received a call from Courtney shortly after that, apologizing (but not apologizing enough, to be honest—I would have been mortified if my incompetence had led to that) and asking to reschedule for two days later.I again made the trip down. When I arrived, I was told to sit at a table. I sat and the GM joined me after a few minutes. Except she didn 't really say anything. I 'm not sure if this was the first interview she had ever conducted, but she seemed like a deer in the headlights: there was no flow to the interview, she just kind of mumbled things.A few minutes after that, another manager—this one the regional—joined our table, but she didn 't introduce herself. She just kind of popped in, didn 't say her name or who she was (I had to ask her name), and started telling me all about her bona fides working for Insomnia Cookies. In spite of those issues, the interview did slightly improve, and I was able to talk. They didn 't hire me, which is fine. Their ineptitude made it seem like they 'd be a nightmare to work for. But generally, with manager roles, it 's customary to provide some notice that you 're no longer being considered for a position. Naturally, with the level of intelligence and professionalism exhibited by this team, I received nothing of the sort.
I go to get donuts from KK once a year. Not familiar with the menu, asked the lady who was taking my order to allow me a minute. Said I would like a 3 pack of specialty donuts. First I said I want to cookies and crème to which I was told they don’t sell cookies, to which I said I know, I want a donut, she asks me again which one I say cookies and crème, and we went back and forth 3 times, and that lady started getting real impatient, mad and rude to which I started talking to her just the same way! There was a misunderstanding on both parts but it doesn’t give that woman a reason to treat a customer in such a way, I needed help with my order, not only she wasn’t helpful, but she was rude and rushing me. When I made it to the window she did absolutely the same, when I try to talk to her calmly without loosing temper explaining there must have been a miscommunication and it would have been helpful if she was helpful with my order instead of screaming what flavor coffee I need there are people waiting and I have no idea what flavors they have, she refused to listen and was screaming at me saying there is a line behind me (there were two cars) and it’s all my fault because I was rude basically saying it valides her behavior and she got no time to hear my complaint. People who are so impatient and have zero understanding of customer service or a frustrated customer who needs help with the order should not be on the front line of serving. Wish I knew her name. I woke up and was excited to get me a box of donuts today and a cup of coffee. Because that’s something I don’t do every week or even every month. I should have left without taking my order, because that lady ruined my excitement and experience that should have been light and easy. It’s a donut shop at the end. Should be a happy place.
