Bidra med feedbackWings A . Best I've had in the area. I got mine well done and dry/sauce on the side. They came out crispy and perfect. People A . what a great crowd. The hostess even asked a few regulars at the bar if I could grab a seat next to them. Very polite and helpful. Bartender was also great. Busy very busy restaurant. I was lucky to get there before the dinner crowd Servers There is a lot going on in there so I don't think it was unruly. But maybe one more food server would have been nice to help with taking orders a little quicker, or get a to go box a bit sooner. But in the end. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in SP
Grilled chicken breast with buffalo sauce are outstanding but it's hit or miss depending if they feel like making them. I would give 5 stars if I could get what I wanted when I order but apparently it's limited space on grill so it's only allowed to order 15 and not after 4 PM. They are worth getting when available.
Have been going to DiOrios for quite a few years. Food is usual very good. Tonight SUCKED. Wings tasted old. Tried a few. NOPE. In the trash they went. Potato skins were potato and some sort of crappy cheese and a tiny piece of bacon. Kitchen needs a lesson on how to cook or someone who knows how to make a proper skin. 50.00 down the crapper. Not sure if we will be back. Gregory's skins are the bomb. Charlie's wings are winning over DiOrios. Get your act together.
Can't believe I passed by this place so many times without going in. Nice dive bar with nice staff and good bar food. I went for lunch with a friend and we got wings and I got steamed clams as well. They don't have clams with white garlic sauce on the menu, but I requested it and the waitress accommodated me which was nice. I can't really judge it too much since it isn't a regular menu item, however, I think that Juliano's holds the best clams white in the area. I usually get wings dry, but figured I would get them tossed in sauce since that is traditional here. They had a nice crisp texture even with the sauce. I think they might use cornstarch to fry. All in all I had a good time and I will for sure be back Wednesday for the 70 cents wings.
I haven't been to this place in probably 20+ years. Everyone says the Buffalo wings are some of the best around. I have to say I am in agreement. These just edge out Charlies in taste with the mild sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and the wing pieces seemed to be more or a light meat in comparison to others. The tenders aren't your area standard and seem more tender than others that can be a little dry and stringy. The side tossed salad was a very good size and the Jalapeño Ranch dressing was good, had a little more heat than I anticipated. If I had one complaint it is the lack of wing sauce at the bottom of the bowl. With meaty tenders i like to dip back in the wing sauce at the bottom but my order was lacking in this area vs, Charlie's makes sure you have plenty. I'll definitely return.
