Madigan's Waterfront - OCCOQUAN

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. However, there was a delay in our server bringing our drinks. We asked to be seated at a different table as we were placed too close to the live band. Despite the long wait, our server Cooper was exceptional.

I think Madigans is past it’s time. Maybe it’s time for someone to buy this precious waterfront space and make it a high end seafood place again. My wife and I both got a bowl of the crab chowder. It was Luke warm at best, almost cold, with the consistency of thick paste. The server was fine but overwhelmed. Probably won’t go back.

Great place! Unassuming ambiance, right on the water and well-prepared food. The crab cakes were particularly excellent. We were looking for a relaxed dining experience, and we are foodies so we don't care for processed, reheated food. This hit the spot.

The restaurant was lovely and the service was excellent. However, there were not enough staff members working and the women's bathroom was in need of serious attention.

The prices were a bit high considering the lack of flavor in the dishes. The food was plain and could use more variety on the menu. The service staff was friendly, but the overall dining experience could be improved with more flavorful options.
