Great food at a reasonable price!! You're definitely getting more bang for your ass! My standard going to try a new BBQ joint at any time is looking for a sampler/plater that covers most meat, and a few pages. Usually wherever you go, this is along $25- $35, and not always so plentiful. Mine was quite portioned and just under $14 for 4 meats, a baked sweet potato, beans, bullies and toast. (Although the young lady who trained another employee overlooked the missing parent-in-law, we will forgive her.lol At one point or another while waiting for my order, every single lady working in the dining room spoke to me and checked if I needed anything. Customer service here was on site. Now for dinner. If fried pickles are on the menu, I'm game. Unless they're fried spears. Seriously, who does that? What is usually a big order for $7-$9 elsewhere, was half the price, but still a decent size for about $3,50. I enjoyed mine with one side of blue cheese. On recommendation I also tried to warn the (II large part of Pig Fries. I think the Pommes could have been cooked a little better if you were dressed like this, but I wasn't disappointed here either. Then there were the beans. I could literally only look past a bowl of baked beans and stay happy here. It would be a challenge to ignore the rest of the wonderful food, but. I enjoyed her so much. Thanks for talking and great food ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure I'll see through next time.

1. Visit in July. The food was great. I had the cut BBQ beef. Was surprised when the waitress asked how I wanted it? That was never asked at another BBQ place. I had it medium, it was the best piece BBQ beef I ever had. That's why I make this review. The sweet tea, pommes and coleslaw were perfect. Waitress very nice and helpful. Yeah, the place looks like a hole in the wall. They served a great food for comfort, which was exactly what we needed after a day of Kayak Silver Springs. Will definitely return on our next trip to the Ocala region.

Sweet peanuts, Batman! Here's the bomb! The ribs melt right into my mouth from the bone. The baked beans, served cold, had pieces of meat in them and were a trip to Tasty Town in and from themselves. Go for everything you eat ribs, because at $14.99 it is a stealing of a deal.

As always, stellar service, amazing eating!! Have NIE had bad experiences here. Absolutely LOVE the bbq beef! Hubby swears on the ribs.

This is not a franchise but locally owned. Great atmosphere, country setting inside. Wait staff are very friendly, food is great. Have been going there since the 1970's myself.
