Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Ocala

My teenager and I loved our first time at dinner in Cheddars. We sat in the bar area at a 2 stand, very nice and our waitress was great. All our food was excellent, and I loved the clean, fun atmosphere.

The food was delicious I had the New Orleans Pasta my father had the ribs and coconut shrimps, and my mother had to try their chicken pot cake, which seemed every other customer got!! Very impressed and super waitress Ashley!!

Honestly, it's been over two years since we visited. We haven't had the best food here in the past. We wanted to try again. We were impressed. In any case, they have made necessary changes and the quality has improved. Drinks were solid, never a problem, very tasty. Order the Bacon Cheeseburger. Absolutely boiled perfect middle well and extremely juicy. My fiancée ordered ribs and treasures. Delicious case when the bone ribs and bread in the tenders were better than before. Great experience. The staff was friendly and we will return.

The food was great! A great waiter. The service was fast, the prices were wonderful. The only sign against them, I paid at the table with my debit card. Thank God I have printed my receipt, because when we walk the door into the parking lot, the server ran after us and asked us if we were pulled out and I said of course, and he said the system had marked me as not paid. He asked if I had my receipt and I showed it to him who was obviously paid with a nice tip and he said he was sad and he wasn't sure why the system didn't pay, but it was pretty embarrassing to observe six other couples. I mean, the server was nice, I'm just not sure why the system wouldn't show that I paid. Update, returned today. The food was fabulous the prices are great. The servers are wonderful. We will definitely return. I wish it was in the city where we live, but we definitely make a point here when we come to Ocala. Make sure you get the croissants, they will bring some to your table when you sit down, but we will always order extra. You're fantastic! They are warm and melt in the mouth. You're better than a hot Krispy Kreme glazed donut.

Great food. Ashley the server was great. 10 stars for her. This place is my favorite restaurant in Ocala. Great Job to the staff. From being seated to the cooks and staff. Love all the smiles and kind people.
