Maredo Steakhouse Oberhausen

Again and again because.... ... we expect the well-known and proven “Maredo” quality here and have received this time again. We stayed here on an early Wednesday evening and wanted to have a good place on the outdoor terrace in beautiful weather to enjoy from here the unique view of the living life on the Centro Promenade, a beautiful meal. Unfortunately it started raining unexpectedly, so we would rather sit in the restaurant area on the window. The “Maredo” was already very well visited this early Wednesday evening. But what for us is always a sign that food must also be good. As it is known that you say “remember” that so many guests cannot mistake where it tastes and where there is a good value for money. We certainly did not regret it and as an appetizer we ordered the very recommended “bored shrimps refined with garlic and herbs” that were served stylishly in a “Cazuela”. We paid 8,99 €, but this appetizer was the money, definitely worth it. To optimize, compared to this appetizer with other Maredo restaurants, the garlic sauce was somewhat too thin. Even a little more garlic bread (without having to pay extra for it, we would have been happy because two small pieces were just too little for us. Then there was my obligatory "Rib Eye Steak" (the juicy piece from the high rib for about €16 and my wife had ordered "Schweinefilet" (three delicate fillets with mushroom sauce with frits for about €15. Conclusion: For the price-performance ratio, the excellent and delicious food, but especially for the excellent service (thanks to Ioannis, called Greek, there are clearly full five stars of us: and if we are to be close again, we will definitely return.

I was here last time with my girlfriend. We both ordered a salad. Because we didn't understand the system with the salad, we kindly asked. Then the waitress did not answer and we went to the salad buffet. After we fed our food, we were served by another waiter. In between, he told us that we can call at any time if we need anything else. Then we wanted to pay and bring him to us with a hand mark. He really freaked out, he pulled us out to ask him for something like that and disappeared for 15 minutes. Then he came to us, dragged all the sayings, and I thought I would work there, and then I was convinced that this is not possible because I am not even 18 and we just want to pay. Then he broke out again and hit the ticket to the table. We wanted to pay separately, again these raids and calls like "it's not so hard". After we finally paid, my friend and I immediately broke up to get away from this unfriendly waiter. I haven't experienced this long. Just because we're younger, he thinks he can treat us like that. He was friendly with adults. I am very disappointed

Anyone who loves steaks is the Maredo DER RESTAURANT: In all sizes and variants, Fleischesser is here fully at their expense. In addition, the restaurant on the promenade at the Centro is simply beautiful to sit outside on a lukewarm summer evening and to stroll the soul some holiday.

It's very crowded on weekends, but you have to count on it. The service is very good and the dishes in the usual Maredo quality. If something doesn't fit, it won't be hesitated, it will be traded directly.

Friendly, flexible and open-minded staff. Small menu but completely sufficient.Excellent menu, a Christmas offer, always fresh salad bar. We always like to get there. Especially in summer, you can enjoy the food on the promenade. Holiday feeling.
