We stumbled on this place that is on the market benito juarez. the hotel is about a block from the center of the city of zocalo we had excellent food. we had the cream of the sweet soup (cremas de verduras) and it was excellent. Then...for the main course I had roasted pork in a mild green sauce (carne de puerco en salsa verde) and my wife had the enchilada verdes (enchiladas in green sauce). both were excellent and very fillable. all that was washed with a beer each. total cost slightly less than $10usd. so good, or better) than the tourist places and much cheaper.

Nos topamos con este lugar camino al mercado de Benito Juárez. Ubicado a unas cuadras del centro de la ciudad - el Zócalo - tuvimos una excelente comida. Ambos pedimos la crema de verduras y estaba deliciosa. Luego, para el plato principal, yo pedí carne de puerco en salsa verde y mi esposa pidió enchiladas verdes, ambos platos estaban excelentes y muy llenadores. Todo esto lo acompañamos con una cerveza cada uno. El costo total fue un poco menos de $10USD. Tan bueno, o mejor) que los lugares turísticos y mucho más barato.
