Overall, not bad considering the location (Chinese restaurant in Oaxaca) prices a bit...high for the city.
It's not terrible, but it's not great... Fried rice was over boiled mushy... The soup was okay, but had a herbal taste on it.... See updated images
This place is great! I’ve been to China 5 times, and the chef here is from Beijing, I met her and spoke my limited Mandarin, and she laughed and complimented me. I had the best Gung Pao chicken I’ve ever had, and went back 3...days later and had it again. Last week I had a bowl of dumplings, and they were delicious! I have one more week in Oaxaca, and I’m going to fit one more visit in. I tried a couple of the Chinese buffets in Oaxaca, this is real Chinese food.
Don't waste your time here. The service is completely unpleasant and the food is expensive for the area, is just decent. Note that none of the prices include rice that adds 40 pesos to any dish price.
I've been in Oaxaca since mid-February 2020 and eat a lot here. I can highly recommend this place. The cook is from Bejing and manages to get great taste, despite key vegetables not available here. The dumplings and won tone soup are excellent.... these are real dumplings. And I enjoy their other dishes. Also I was raised in Shanghai and when I ask for beef with ginger, she makes it for me! I also enjoy the location near Casa de Artesanias and other beautiful shops. And it's nice to send the Alcala here after a delicious meal. Very recommended.
