Group celebrating an employee special occasion .. Super long wait and food was awful for the price. keeping my promise of not going back - I also said that 2 years ago .

I was at kelsey's ( 301 Hays Blvd) last night and had the wors meal I have had in along time.Breakdown:1. Kids Menu Pizza: frozen pizza with no flavor is served to our children without them telling us. when my son bit into it water poured out from under the cheese. disgusting. we asked for extra peperoni when we ordered and they said "yes sure" then I came to find that they don't even keep peperoni onsite. they lied!2. the fish and chicken tacos we ordered were 95% taco and 5% chicken or fishI could go on but I jus got off the phone with the GM of this Kelseys and she was great. as I said, the staff and service was pretty good with the exception that we were lied to about the peperoni and the frozen pizza. cmon Kelsey's!! you were once a staple in our community but it now seesm you have spent more money on your reinventing the brand look but not the food. The quality is very poor.step up or step out

Food was okay. Servers were okay.Had to wait nearly 90mins for our food. It was a Sunday 2:00pm, and the place was empty, so there was no reason for the food to take so long. They had 20x the scene points going on, but the rep failed to ask us if we even had scene points. And then when I asked her, she said it was to late, when she could have easily redone the order.Very disappointed in Kelsey. Would not recommend it

Went to kelsey's last night with my friend to celebrate my birthday. Boy I know how to pick a place. I was at Kelsey's in the summer, was pretty slow and the food was ok, so I thought I'd give it another chance.The waitress was nice, however, seemed so giddy and laughed at everything we said (we were not joking). The food took over 30 minutes to reach us. My friend ordered Salmon beet goat cheese salad and I ordered steak (medium well) and fries. God knows what took them so long. No one came to tell us what the deal was. Then my steak came alone with some dehydrated looking carrots, and my friend's salad. The steak was so tough, I had a hard time cutting through it with a steak knife. My fries came later - how odd? There was no sauce for the steak - the waitress/manager were baffled at my words 'is there a peppercorn sauce you could bring me with the steak' or asking them if the sauce was gluten free was asking them to write me a PhD dissertation that same night. My friend's salad was even worse. There is no cheese in the goat's cheese salad? Hmm. I am afraid to think how low you have to stoop to accept this junk as food, and what baffles me even more, how do you charge for it?It was a very disappointing experience. I will not go back. Good food, the spinach dip is awesome. Our server was okay, but considering she only had one other table we felt a bit left out. Great Asian salad, but my husband had the Asian curry noodle bowl and he said it was disappointing to say the least. The donuts dessert is amazing but their new cookie and ice cream was not very good. I love the Boston pizza Panookie and this was not as good. Great drinks menu, so many options! And the sangria is massive!!!!Overall average.
