Chorizo Fresh Mex - Oakville

This place makes great burritos. My only complaint is that they are stingy with the guacamole, even if I ask for extra at the cash and pay for extra. Even so, I will keep coming back because the food is very good!

I'm pretty sure its under new management, and with that a lot of "cost cutting" has occurred. Contents are less in their burritos/fajitas, lettuce quality is poor (used to be romaine, now is a rusty iceberg), less meat due to smaller meat portion. There was a time you showed up at noon during the week and the lineup went out the door. Today I showed up at 11:50, one table had two people, and I was the only other customer.

I had a beef rice bowl and it was very good. The ingredients were fresh and the meal was very tasty. I love Mexican food and this passed the test with me. Price wise it was fair to be in Canada where everything is more expensive. It serves less food than chipotle though

"Fast" food joint that is typically slow. Whenever I come here, I think the management is concerned with cost, and has no real interest in serving their customer.I agree with some reviews that mention that the place is in need of maintenance. When I was there it was freezing!The employees don't really give a damn if you have any issues with the service or the food. Value for money - a little more expensive than other lunch spots. You do get tons of food, but you will pay a few extra bucks over the neighbouring lunch spots.Toppings - and this drives me crazy - on more than one occasion, I asked them for half rice and double veggies, I'm told they can't do that, or they would otherwise have to charge me. Heaven forbid, I ask for a little extra Salsa. I get the extra charge for guac, but for the rest?? Come on! I can only imagine these employees getting lectured by the owner to be extra careful with the toppings because he/she is so concerned with the bottom line. Management has "lost the plot" so to speak and forget that a little bit of flexibility will go a long way to creating return customers. This is a frequent lunch spot for me and Extreme Pita and Booster Juice usually get my business. I can't see this changing any time soon.

We shared their tacos (we had steak) since you get two. They applied us to customize each taco to our specific tastes (I like spicy, my wife likes medium to mild). Meat was tender and juicy. Taco shells were soft and fresh. Topping were all tasty and fresh. Pricing seemed high but when we shared we got great value. Tortilla chips and salsa was nice - especially since the chips were fresh and warm.
