Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely incredible. Was asked if I was hungry and had no idea that when I answered yes, I would be given such a huge serving (pic is after they had already given me soup). The food was cooked right there and was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Mixed review. Good food and ENORMOUS servings. BUT. It took us over an hour for the first of us to get served after we arrived around 12:30 pm on a weekday. Although they knew we came as a group, who got their food when seemed pretty random, as people who had come after us were served the 3rd of our group got her lunch maybe 30 minutes (or longer! after the 1st of us. Lots and lots of food, but, well, don't go unless you have all afternoon open! We saw the truck and walked up to it with no idea that this was SLOOOOWWWWW food. Not what one expects from a food truck in an area where you'd expect most people to be on their lunch break from nearby businesses. Nice people, good food, but really????? We didn't look at the time when we arrived but estimate we were there at least 1.5 hours, and the last of us served didn't stay to eat there but wrapped it up to take home.
The gyros are amazing. But they 're really slow waited over an hour to get our Feed Me food. At least they were considerate to give us bowls of soup for the wait.
I 'm going to echo the same disclaimers you 'll see in many reviews, and one of Chef Elmy 's rules: Do not come here if you are in a hurry, do not come here if you are not hungry. Elmy will feed you like it 's Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one day. The first thing Elmy told me when he learned I was also Arabic, was Habibi I will take care of you, and if you don 't finish your food I will tell your mother you threw away your food. Needless to say, he wasn 't lying. Everyone who eats there gets the royal treatment. As we were waiting, they kept throwing more food at us while our orders came out. Vege soup, and a falafel like ball made from leftover vege soup. It was so good.My meal (pictured) was the chicken wrap. It was stuff d with chicken and mixed greens. Take a bike ride on a Saturday and work up an appetite with your friends on a beautiful day, then come here. Elmy and the crew will take care of you, and you will leave feeing satisfied for the rest of the day.
I had a Chicken Gyro and it was really good, definitely wouldn’t mind having this for lunch every day. And they gave me a huge portion for a great price. Flavortown fasho.
