Mistura - Oakland

I was able to make reservations and I confirmed them however the restaurant was closed so we weren't able to eat there. It was my birthday so I was very disappointed. I know it is the times of covid but I would have made other arrangements.

The food at this restaurant is generally good, with the rotisserie chicken being the standout dish. Unfortunately, the noise level is deafening and there is no ambiance to speak of. The service is rather indifferent, as they gave our reserved table away to walk-ins. As a result, we were cramped at a small table by the door, where cold wind kept coming in. I might consider ordering takeout in the future, but I will not be dining in again.

Food took a long time to come out and they were not busy.

The rotisserie chicken was delicious and stole the spotlight. The ceviche was good, but the salad was a bit strange. A perfect spot for a relaxed date night or casual dinner. I will definitely be returning!

Food and service were great! We enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, Rotisserie Chicken, empanadas, Aguadito de Pollo (Soup). Even the Maracuya was not too sugary.
