Jj Fish And Chicken - Oakland

I think I’ve been to this place about 5 times in the past 3-4 months. That’s a lot because I don’t live nearby. I usually order the catfish filets with fries and I get all the sauces that comes with it.Every time I’m greeted by the cashier and every time I order the same thing it taste exactly the same every time. I highly recommend this spot. Taste better than a lot of catfish cookers around.

Really enjoy the food, and the service the person who waited on me was very polite. They first forgot to place my chicken gizzards on my order, but was quick to get them ready. They even gave me a free banana pudding for having me to wait. Everything was fresh and hot as well as delicious. I forgot my tea, but was told to come back and let them know that Simon said it was ok. This place may not be in the best area but the food is one of the best that I have tasted out of the JJ's that I have been to. ? Also. They have a wide variety of sides and fish?.

I always come here to get banana pudding. I got banana pudding this time and there was no bananas in and it taste totally different so I know someone else is making it. It was just box pudding and wafers I could’ve did that at home. Very disappointing.Food: 2/5

Usually go to the one in Sacramento but today found myself in Oakland visiting my great uncle X (sn, he's black panther hence the last name X... its alot of history, black history when we do lunch. We went to his usual laundry spot and there's JJs . last time I went I gave em 3 stars, this time was better so I am going with 4. I liked it a lot, and very convenient to eat while waiting for laundry. Yay multitasking. This location stays on brand with the huge portions we ate whiting cause I like it better than catfish. Also got jumbo shrimp fries bread.... Tried their lemonade which I never have seen it was good. Dessert was chocolate cake, idunno why but it wasn't moist enough for me. All in all thought, twas Pretty good. Not bad.

I just ordered a fish and oyster combo on Uber Eats. I don't really care that the order is a fraction of the size it should be but, I DO care that the food taste like it was cooked in WEEK OLD GREASE! And my lemonade tastes like PURE WATER! I just paid $40 for this BS. I'm mad AF. And they didn't put a side of vinegar in the bag like I asked... food is way too salty. Trash.
