Bidra med feedbackWonderful service, close to parks that we wanted to eat at, and a great Oakland vibe : My patty melt was -very slightly- overcooked, but that’s hardly something to get bent out of shape over.
Never been one to write reviews but this place is great and deserves some support. It's a nice little local hole in the wall joint nestled into a residential neighborhood that serves coffee, smoothies, burgers, sandwiches and other food and drinks with big portions and very reasonable prices. I got the Thai chicken sandwich essentially a banh mi but on a rustic ciabatta like bun. Included a fat serving of sweet potato fries; you can choose between those, seasoned, or regular fries (or garlic fries for an extra couple bucks). Was nice and big, filling, and can't l came out to around $15 after tax which is really good for the area and for the size of it. It's nothing fancy or exceptional but they have great food for good prices, good portions, really friendly staff and a pretty comfy atmosphere inside. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. Wish there were more places like this.
Only problem I have is some days they say they're open and they're not
He always remembers my name and usually guesses my order right. I call in to make a speedier pick up but its great place to have a sit down breakfast/ brunch with family or friends. try everything on the menu but his orange juice is always superb, i think he juices tangerines which is even better
There's no other place to get breakfast in Oakland that compares to 10th and wood. If you haven't tried this place you are certainly missing out. The staff is wonderful. And if you haven't eaten Elvis French toast have you even lived?
