New Jersey Grocery Deli - Oakland Park

Literally the BEST Cuban sandwich in Broward County. No joke.

The shop is small but inviting, featuring coolers filled with drinks akin to those you'd find at a 7-11, a cash register, a substantial fresh meat counter, a dessert case, and a hot grill serving breakfast and lunch. The place was bustling, with three chefs efficiently handling the orders. While there isn't any seating available, the process is straightforward: order and pay at the counter. I tried a sandwich with pulled pork, ham, pickles, and mayo, all pressed between delicious bread. For just $6, the sandwich was comparable in size to a large offering from Subway, but the quality was far superior. The staff was friendly, and convenient parking is available right by the entrance in the strip mall. I look forward to trying more items on the menu when I return to New Jersey Grocery and Deli. It's definitely worth the trip!

The owners are wonderful people, and I feel lucky to have this restaurant just down the street from my workplace. It's the best value for quality food in the area! I'm definitely planning to go back soon!
