Grape Leaves - Oak Park

Food was excellent and waiter/chef was attentive and nice.

The place is a bit small, but their food is absolutely outstanding. I'm a big fan of the lamb tagine and chicken tagine. My friend said the lamb shawarma was superb as well. The lamb pieces were large are juicy. Much better than any standard Mediterranean restaurant. Sure it's a bit pricier than a quick serve place, but you certainly get what you pay for here!

The food was fantastic and server/chef was so friendly. However there was only one person working as both server AND chef, and he said the second guy working there was brand new. We had to wait 20 minutes to be given waters, so this place definitely needs more staff.

Love this place. The food is so flavorful and portions are great! Delicious vegetarian options.
