Barbeque House - Oak Island

This place is near the Beach! And it is Delicious! The ladies at the register were very friendly! Great Place! Love North Carolina!

Food was good plentiful was disappointed they were out of bbq slaw though

We had been told that this was the best barbecue around, and since we had not picked up anything for dinner while staying in Oak Island we decided to try it. It was really good barbecue, and so fast! We placed two orders on separate days and both were fast and super fresh. They have five different sauces and the two we tried were delicious. The brisket was very yummy, as was the pork barbecue. I tried hubby’s collards and they were good (and I’m not usually a greens eater! loved the hush puppies and honey butter and could have had so many more! The corn nuggets were delicious, and the potato salad was yummy. A little wet but I like it that way. We liked it so much we had two meals there and fully intend to return when we go back to that area!

I 've been here a few times and had a buddy come in and visit me the last time we went. I highly recommended it to him, it didn 't meet his expectations and disappointed both of us. Food was so dry even with sauce service is medicore at best.

The food and variety offered were fantastic. However, the staff were somewhat noisy and not very attentive. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a typical BBQ restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the delicious food would definitely entice me to return.
