Gibsons Bar Steakhouse Oak Brook

Steak was way too charred and not seasoned at all. Would expect more for the price.

I had not been to Gibson's Oak Brook since 2019 and was disappointed in the experience. The food was good, but the dining room seemed very outdated. I'd choose Capital Grill or Shaw's next time.

I definitely believe the atmosphere was lively. Not a party scene but very good atmosphere. As a Hispanic person, I definitely didn’t like that everyone looked down on us lol. But hey can’t stop from people looking. I did like the waiters but definitely feel they kept trying to rush us.

The only place we go for special occasions! Service is always welcoming and spot-on. Oysters and crab cake appetizer were great starters before delicious steaks and scallops shared across the table. A surprise birthday dessert was a sweet ending to a special family dinner. And the hardest decision of the nite? Do you want an espresso martini, Grey Goose martini straight up with (my fav) bleu cheese olives or a great Cabernet?
