Blighty's Bistro - Oak Bay

5 weeks ago order a gift card of $100 online for the birthday of my father and received an email confirmation and our credit card was calculated. I never got the gift card. no one answers the phone and no answer to multiple voicemail messages and emails.

Based on other recent reviews, we visited this restaurant recently and maybe they had only a bad night. the seafood offer was lacking in important ingredients (so we did not order it), the pasta offer was uninspiring, the ribeye steak was pretty good, and the haw was on the dry and hard side. the cream brûlée was not great, a little overcooked. eating presentation was beautiful, atmosphere beautiful and service was good. will not be in a hurry to return.

Good service and atmosphere, very good traditional eating, excellent BC wine list with some hard to find and cheap Okenagan wines.

We met this restaurant when we tried to find a place to eat near oak bay beach hotel. we were immediately attracted by the facility and lighting in the restaurant. there are paintings on the wall and candles on each table. even if there are not many tables (about 10) probably due to covid restrictions, the atmosphere is excellent for a nice dinner. we ordered the strawberry pecan salad to start with it, and it was the best salat we have ever tried. the presentation is delicate and creatiw, and the taste is definitely fantastic! the fusion between fruity aromes, balsamico sauce and some in-house sauce is just right! we also ordered seafood and pasta, which were also fantastic! and what is more unforgettable is the dame that helps people to the tables. she is so nice and energetic! she talked a lot with us and gave us many tips about sights around victoria: everything I would definitely recommend, dinner in this restaurant. it will be a great experience.

The food was amazing. Compliments to the chef as well Angie and Bob as a serving duet was a symphony of delight.
