Mar Etxea Gastro Bar - NUEVO VALLARTA

We went in around 1-2pm and it was definitely hot outside and the server went far and beyond to turn on the AC just for the two of us (there was nobody else when we dined probably because it wasn't rush hour yet and it was kinda hard to find) we ordered 3 kinds of tacos - fish, rib eye, and shrimp - all of which tasted amazing! But our favourite was the shrimp tacos!! We even ordered a second one just because it was really really delicious! The server was always making sure we had a great time and had everything we needed and tried his best to communicate with us ( he spoke little english and we didn't speak too much Spanish either) definitely a must try (especially the shrimp tacos! You won't be disappointed!)

We went here for lunch but arrived late. They still had a small menu and we were very pleased. They served us wonderfully prepared tacos, salad, and Margarita. Then desert was Pecan Pie with icecream. The coffee was served with piping hot cream and the waiter Frankie was amazing! The air was cool, the marina quiet, and we enjoyed a peaceful and delightful meal. I highly recommend this place!

Mar Etxea offers Basque cuisine with flavors of Mexico and other regions of Spain. The margaritas are excellent. Service was VERY slow.

We love this place come here yearly and has never disappointed. Friendly owner server and great chef Variety of wonderful tapas definitely recommend this place

Mar Etxea and Wine and Burgers are right next to each other on the Marina in Nuevo Vallarta. Each restaurant has its interesting menu and different dishes to choose from. The food is great, the view is lovely...a must visit.
