Bidra med feedbackThe food is average here. I guess I am comparing the Bavarian, food I had in Munich. The prices are a bit too much. But for sure you can go and try this restaurant out.
We went to this place for dinner. It's very nice and intimate, compared to many similar places in Nuremberg. Also, it's in a great location. The food is Bavarian, of average quality (which I think it's actually typical quality, as it seems like that in almost every other restaurant of the same kind). The meat was overdone at best: the rump-steak was so cooked it was almost like a shoe. The weinerschnitzel wasn't bad but well... how can it be bad? Service was somehow bizarre in the sense that they only had 2 soups left (and we were 8, pre-booked), they were out of fries and didn't have dessert for everybody!! Beer was good. At 35 € per person it looked a bit pricey.
I decided to try this place because it was right across from the fantastic art museum, which was open in the evening after I arrived. The food was so good and the staff so friendly that I ate every other meal here during my two days in Nurnberg. Wonderful food and very reasonable as well. Dropdown only lets me choose dinner, but they serve lunch as well, and I think stay open until at least 10 pm.

Very grounded restaurant, cozy furnishings. Food sequence: plank soup and sülze, both very good, tasteful and quantitative. in order
