Bidra med feedbackHands down, the best place to dance in the area! The night that we went they had green tea shots for $3 and the other drinks we ordered were standardly priced. The music selection was great and the lighted dance floor is so enticing! Bartenders were attentive and the bathroom attendant was a sweetheart that actually checked in on us during the night to make sure we were okay. I also love that they have a professional photographer taking pictures throughout the night. Will definitely return.
It was girl's night out so we thought we would check this place out. We were worried about what type of crowd that would be there but was pleasantly surprised it was people of all ages; couples, singles, gays, a bachelorette party. The outside patio had a large bar with a large video screen and seating area with sofas. The dance club is on the second floor so it overlooks the area down below. The music was alright, we danced and had a great time. The bartender was super friendly and offered to make us a fruity concoction, which was so good.
I live in the area and frequently visit this bar. I have always been welcomed by a kind and enthusiastic staff. Waiting for drinks is non-existent, because they always seem to be well staffed for every occasion. To top it off, drinks come generously poured and at a great price. Make sure you bring your dancing shoes to test out their 70's style light-up floor!
This club deserves a commercial for Windex for how well they keep the glass windows/walls clean. So fresh and so clean it looks invisible. Here's the proof right here of my face plant into the glass wall. The cleaning service deserves all the credit. A1
Had my daughter 's birthday party here. First time for any of us at Stayin ' Alive. We lined up about 850pm doors opened at 9pm. We were greated and since we reserved a room our name was on the list and had no problems going upstairs. Bouncers were fantastic, showed us to our 'Shag Room ' I was a bit surprised at the seating, there is not much and it only lines the walls, makes it difficult to socialize. The room was super clean though. You are separated into right and left sides by a (For lack of knowing what they are called) the thing that guides the ticket line in a movie theater. So you will partying openly with your neighbors. If you are there for the dancing and music the Shag Room is not the place to be, you cannot hear the words to the music and really have a bad view. The band, once you left the room, was really good. The dance floor is small but fun, lots of light and huge disco ball. If you are the VIP type that just stays with your group and likes the activity in the background then the Shag Room is for you. The specialty drinks that were listed on a menu on your table did not turn out to be winners for us. 2 whole drinks were left, one tasted like cherry cough syrup and the other I 'm not sure what a wolf berry is but it tasted as bad as it sounds. The melon ball shots were pricey and only enjoyed by 1 of the 6 to drink them. Drinks came very slowly to the room, not sure what held them up. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Yes there is an attendant and you should tip her if you use her products but i did not feel pressured to tip just to wash my hands. I am sure we will go back sometime but I will get tables by the dance floor and will be drinking bottled beer. received a follow up call from the owner, thought that was really nice. We agreed that the flavor of the drinks were a matter of taste, just didn 't work for us. I am confident if we would have said something it would have been corrected but we did not complain just moved on to the next one. We will be back and sitting closer to the dance floor.
