Crave - Novato

Fantastic find for a restaurant when we were coming from out of town. We spent the day in Mill Valley/Novato area and needed a good place that everybody would like. I would highly recommend this restaurant, good service is an understatement. Varied menu, tasty food and the food was out really fast. Special shout out to our server, Oscar V! He really took care of us!

Decided to try Crave after a friend recommend it started with a nice Caesar salad then we both had steak frites upgraded to truffle fries) The Steak was Pure Perfection, from the perfect temperature, taste, presentation, surprisingly the portion large)! We ate outdoors with great service a great casual atmosphere Novato has a really nice restaurant that anyone could find a pleasant meal. Can't wait to try the chicken! Or maybe the Petrale sole special!

Service is attentive. That's about all I can say that's positive. Food was dry and bland. I asked for Tabasco sauce but ended up getting Cholula hot sauce in a small sauce container. That's fine but they should have just said they did not have Tabasco sauce. Overall, nothing memorable about the tacos or the burgers. The wine we got was overpriced and meh. With all the other better restaurants in the Bay Area, no need to return.

Tucked away in this small sleepy town is this crown jewel. Wait staff is warm and welcoming. Extremely attentive for such a laid back atmosphere. Really had the pleasure to really experience Crave’s pork chop which had a good balance of char, tenderness and flavor. Was not overcooked and the complementary sides rounded out my dish to perfection. If you can then get a table outside where the atmosphere is very relaxed.

I was CRAVING some good breakfast food and this place was no disappointment! The service was great and the food AMAZING, got me some mimosas and an omelet. So much food I couldn’t even eat it All!
