Bidra med feedbackWe were very happy to find this place quite central in Novara opened although it was the 26th of December. It was a very sunny and warm day for being December, so, after picking inside and seeing that it was crowded and a bit dark, we decided to sit out. We got to choose from a menu online and, although the prices were not the cheapest, ended up with some coffee, chocolate and a special chocolate/coffee cup. We did ask also for some chips for our daughter and the waiter pointed out that they would be served with the drinks as part of them (as the kids wanted some ice tea). A second waiter came bringing parts of the order and stating the price. As some things were missing (including the chips) we waited to pay. The first waiter (the one that took the order) came back with the remaining parts but we never saw the chips we ordered and our attempt to get attention on that didn't fly anywhere. At the end, my daughter was hungry (as she is gluten intolerant she could not eat any pastry that was available) when we left. Generally, the location is great, it was beautiful to be able to sit out. I think the interior could be a bit more classic it felt very modern and a bit out of place thinking where the location is. I would have expected a bit better service and professionalism in how the waiters handled our request. The special coffee/chocolate I ordered didn't really click on me either. It cost 6.5 euro but didn't taste much except a lot of cream, it wasn't terrible, but nothing that I would consider remarkable or justifying that price.
Avoid this place! The aperitvo is for sure the worst in town... and perhaps in Italy. Very disappointing.
This used to be a meeting point in this lovely city. The place has been renovated with very bad taste. The food is not what is used. The staff is friendly. The back music is a radio station. This is the best definition.
I went with friends forgiven coffee very good glasses of wonderful ice cream, I put 4 stars because I waited a little maybe an extra person who serves would help, but the great advice place
We arrived in Novara at Noon. Looking for a place to eat, we quickly decided not to stop at the first caffe in the square since it was very busy (obviously, 'the ' place to be). A bit farther, I noticed this caffe, only half occupied, but all seemed to be 'locals '. I inquired if the waitress spoke English and if they accepted credit-cards, both answers were 'yes '. I tried to immediately order a drink to help 'clear the dust ' from my first day on the 'autostrada ', but was told to wait as she went about clearing several tables that had just been vacated. This 'put-me-off ' a bit, but I sat-back, enjoyed the view, the sunshine, and got into 'Italian-time '! Looking over the menu, we opted for something 'lite '. I was attracted to the 'car ppacio of tuna ', but was concerned that 'raw fish ' might not be the best option this far from the sea. Soo glad I let my stomach over-rule my head. Delicate slices of 'fresh ' tuna, speckled with pink pepper-corns, and garnished with silced cherry-tomatoes, arugula, and grated carrot. Dressed with olive-oil and lemon; it was 'fantastic '!!! My wife ordered more 'conservatively ': spinach and ricotta ravioli with a light sage-butter sauce. Also, an excellent choice; the small pastas were as light as they were flavorful, and proved a good accompaniment to my salad (we share). Pleased and satisfied, I was further pleased to find that this 'memorable ' experience came at a very 'affordable ' price. Caffee Borsa, I thank you!
