Trattoria Zangheri - NOVAFELTRIA

Just by chance we found this Trattoria and we enjoyed it. We ate a seefood salad with excellent squid and octopus, next we ate fish (a large brother of sardines, very tasty), and finished with pasta with various types of fish and sea fruit. Together with a simple white wine it made our day!

It was lunchtime and we were returning home from San Marino when we decided to stop at this small trattoria. What a wonderful choice! Only a half-dozen small tables in a cozy family atmosphere, with the husband and wife taking care of us, we truly felt as if we were in a country kitchen, relaxed and personal. The antipasto was superb, the best we have had in 17 years of living in Italy; the three of us each had a different pasta, all homemade, all excellent. The tiramissu was just prepared and extremely good. The house wine was exceptionally good. This two hour Sunday lunch was a truly rich experience, and we will return!
