Snack Ulysse - Noumea

Super cheap and fair value for money compared to the rest of the city Noumea. As tourists, all we do is eat out and we tried many restaurants for the week that we were there, this was by far the best price for value. This small and simple street restaurant serves great American cuisine. Mixed with locals and tourists, it is a great one to cross the list when you come here.

The burger was really amazing. The store looks like your average dive, but the food was amazing! The staff was nice. They spoke perfectly English and were actually interested in having a chat with us. Would definitely go back.

Big burgers and fries, not oily at all and taste amazing! Beer is also very cheap. You won't be disappointed that you came.

They call themselves a snack, but serve Restaurant Essen. The Sashimi was my best meal in New Caledonia. The prices are also fantastic!

I just found this restaurant on google map by chance and came here for dinner on Sunday. Most of the restaurants are closed on Sunday night in this country but this restaurant opens on Sunday until 9 pm. The dishes my partner and I ordered were fresh tuna coming with salads and grilled prawn with some rice. These were really really good and I would come here until I died if I was given 3 months to live due to cancer or something. I saw many local people ordering for take away while I was waiting for my food. That’s a good sign to prove their foods are good.
