Red Dog Saloon Nottingham

Visited here for lunch today and walked away very disappointed. Asked for my burger to be extra spicy which it wasn’t, the burger was brown chicken and fatty. Also asked for crispy bacon which it wasn’t. Overall very disappointed and will not be visiting again, even if it was free. The female waitress got defensive when I told her what I wasn’t happy with. As stated, I will not recommend it won’t visit again.

Very ordinary food. Staff made up for some of the shortcomings as were very friendly and helpful. Not somewhere I will go again.

Booked a table for as a romantic meal for two.... We were then seated in the sports bar with **** football on the screens. I asked for us to be moved but they declined. We already had ordered our food but my partner wanted us to cancel and leave due to my hate of football but I said no we will put up with it. The volume was loud and the area was dimly light. This made the viewing of the menu hard....I could read the print in a bible easier....and the menu was very shabby looking and not in a good way. The staff were pleasant... The food....we had 2 burgers and 4 drinks....oh and fries!!! It was OK but the reason for leaving this review and I never usually leave a moaning one is that I had my pants pulled down over the price..... My other half grabbed the reciept and said .....guess how much? £50? No......higher!!!! £70 quid.....£15 average tasting burgers and fries were extra....nearly £20...really Sadly this is our first and last time here. I would have been more excited about giving my £70 to a homeless bloke.... So a Saturday night out ended within a hour....went home and had some cheese on toast..with Worcester Sauce...Lea Perrins ofcourse..

Went to the Red Dog Saloon for lunch as a birthday treat for me whilst we were in town anyway. Nice decor inside and we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to a table. Great menu of BBQ, burgers, loaded fries and drinks. Food came out in good time and was really tasty. Really good brisket, nice burger, excellent BBQ sauce and great crispy fries. This must be the best BBQ joint in Nottingham that I've been to recently.

Visited here for dinner with a group of friends. We were welcomed by staff and seated. Drink order was taken swiftly and drinks arrived soon after. Food order was then made and about 15-20 mins later food arrived. Food tasted amazing. We’re were all very impressed. Service was really good as well. We really enjoyed our trip here and won’t hesitate visiting again if back in Nottingham.
