I had the 3 courses for £13.99 and I started with the Mushroom and garlic Bruscetta. This was very tasty with a nice texture and with freshly toasted bread. The main course was fish and chips with a healthy sized piece of cod. Nice flakey pieces of white fish, and then followed up by a pudding of Iced cream. I can certainly recommend the chocolate brownie for pudding, warm and tasty. We received good service despite it being half term and very busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend. Just be aware that this is not fast food, and so expect to wait for your food to be cooked fresh.
Absolutely brilliant service. Completely new to the restaurant and it left us with a wonderful all-round experience. Lovely vibe throughout. Quality food, super quick service, next to no waiting time on our food orders. My family were waited on by Emed (Nottingham city) who went above and beyond to give us such a warm welcome and valued our custom. The pricing was fair for being in the city centre and I can certainly see my family returning again soon.
Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it.
Disappointed with this F&B. Uncomfortable seating, too noisy and grubby. Difficult to talk over loud background music. Did ask to be moved but was told it wasn't possible.
