Bidra med feedbackI love The Rodney, I have been going there for years. I love the atmosphere and the ambiance. However, there are a few things that always bother me. The price of the lager is incredibly high. I have never paid so much for a pint of lager in any other pub, anywhere! £6.40 is outrageous, it's like capital city prices or even worse. Someone is definitely making a lot of money off of that. The place is always full though, so clearly they are doing something right. Another issue is the men's toilets, they are very outdated and grim. I have considered just holding it rather than going in there. Despite my complaints, I will still continue to visit. It may sound crazy, but I can't resist going back.
During my stay in Nottingham, I decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch. It had a traditional pub look with plenty of tables in cozy rooms. Despite being very busy, there were plenty of parking spaces available. There were a few vegan options on the menu, all of which were good value for money. I tried the superfood salad, katsu curry, and marinara ciabatta with chips, all of which were delicious and came out quickly despite the crowd. They had specials on which made the meals even more affordable. In total, our bill came to just over £30 for three meals and drinks. The restaurant is dog-friendly, making it a great spot for pet owners. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal, but be sure to book ahead as it can get quite crowded.
Excellent place to stop for lunch. The steak was particularly good. Classical English pub.
Great food, unfortunately very run down in need of refurbishment, chipped cups, bad aroma in foyer from toilets, understaffed, very cold.
Came in with a couple of friends for dinner, service at the bar and table was brilliant, Artur a member os staff really stood out as his service was amazing and was so polite.
