Zaks Waterside Grill - Norwich

We visited Zak’s for lunch after Christmas shopping trip to Norwich and could not fault it. Service by Jane was excellent; professional, efficient and very friendly without being intrusive. The food was good value, tasty and served to our complete satisfaction. The portion size was generous. Thank you team Zak’s.

Four adults and a toddler at Zak’s waterside today. Was buy one get one free averaging £6.50 a meal. Food was really good however £7.50 for a junior meal consisting of a small plain burger and curly fries (no drink or ice cream) was expensive. His food came and the burger was very over cooked so much so he couldn’t eat it as it was too hard. Although the waitresses were very helpful and friendly there were only 2 and they were very busy therefore we didn’t get an opportunity to bring it to their attention. Therefore he shared our food and his wasn’t touched.

Beyond veggieI burger and chips My chips were all scrappy bits My veggie wasn’t cooked and it was lukewarm I complained and the member of staff said your burger was free you are just paying for the other burger They had an offer on buy 1 get 1 free.

Very nice and authentic American diner serving some great food. I love the food here and it is always super tasty, I particularly love the curly fries here, they are amazing. Service is always really friendly and attentive and the restaurant is decorated in a nice way to represent American diner culture. Recommended if you are a fan of burgers and other American dishes !
