Bidra med feedbackI came in with my daughter as we have done for a few years at Christmas time for a roast dinner unfortunately the food was very poor,instant mash potato, parsnips roast potatoes were very under cook really hard.....I asked for apple sauce for my pork I was brought dessert apple sauce which I obviously scrapped of my pork....I guess this pub must have new owners and chef because the food was always spot on and lovely ,but not now.we will not be back, such a shame.
Came for a family friends birthday celebration, waited over an hour for food which when it came was uneatable! Very disappointing and staff weren't overly helpful either...
I came with 2 friends and we were looking forward to a last lunch together before Christmas, But the food was very poor, I had Hunters chicken which should have come with bbq sauce but there was virtually none and the chicken was so dry and tasteless without the sauce and it was the first time I had ever had cold peas! The waitress asked if everything was ok and I said it was disappointing that it wasn’t as described, she just said she would pass that onto the chef! The manager came over after a few minutes and said he hoped we would return and the next time we came it would be better, well I’m sorry there probably won’t be a next time at least not for a meal, I don’t expect gourmet food but something edible and enjoyable would have been nice
Do not go can’t understand the star value , ordered food waited over 11 2hours for a microwaved pie mash and hard vegetables.Also the festival drinks on the menu were not available staff tried there best ,management hid and didn’t care . I know it’s Christmas and a busy time of the year but this is absolutely bad food and service . Head office need to sort out or mystery shop this establishment to get a grip
Honestly … don’t even bother. Not even going to waste any more time on this place as I waited enough for ping “food” if you can call it that! Disgusting how you can cause such upset over a meal. No communication. I don’t understand how you can advertise award winning meals yet can serve better at home. Staff are fed up of complaints but the only way this is going to change is a serious business plan change. Feeling sorry for anyone booked in for festive celebrations, hopefully you are not as disappointed as we were.
