Stracey Restaurant And Bar - Norwich

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant was actually quite charming, despite my previous perceptions of it being a bit rundown. The establishment was clean, spacious, and well-lit, with delightful staff members. The food was also quite tasty.

I had a fantastic weekend with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you to the Stracey Hotel for providing us with an enjoyable weekend.

The burgers, fish, etc are just cooked from frozen fare (stuff you get from the supermarket), so dont expect too much. Having said that, the price reflects the quality.

I was using the Stracey as a B&B in order to attend the footy as always, the rooms are bright, clean, functional and as you would wish I wasn't looking to find fault, so no doubt there was a speck of dust somewhere, but it wasn't apparent. Check in was easy, ditto checkout Breakfast cooked to order, so nice and fresh, with plenty of tea coffee. Only negative is that this super little hotel has become very popular as befits its' quality sadly, that is reflected in the escalating cost of accommodation, pushing it to a point where you actually expect a little more for your money. Still. A good price freeze for the next couple of years should sort that :

Excellent breakfast, brilliant staff, so upto date, clean tidy, would stay again but would probs catch train next time.
