Oishi - Norwalk

Sono in downtown has limited vegan options, so it is nice to find a restaurant with a few choices available. They offer 9 vegan sushi options, but be sure to request no eggs or milk. The sweet potato roll sauce is not vegan, so be cautious. My favorite was the tofu avocado roll. I also tried the vegan fried rice with crispy tofu, which was not on the menu but available upon request. Other vegan options include a side of bok choy, edamame, seatangsalat, and various salads (just be sure to request no milk or eggs at the time of ordering). The soy sauce on the table is not vegan, but they do have a vegan sauce available if you ask for it.
