The South Beach Pub - Northumberland

Always love come here, beautiful view, the huts, the ice, the fish chips.

Fabulous day spent at the beach yesterday for my granddaughters sixth birthday and as a Jo Cox get together. We loved our beach hut and all the amenities on hand. Only concern as we had lots of little ones with us was the drop from prom to sand in front of the huts. Someone had kindly brought a ladder which was well used by the older children. It would be helpful to have some kind of railing and maybe a set of steps or ramp in the middle of the area in front of the huts. This however didn't spoil our enjoyment and fortunately there were no mishaps. Never seen the beach so full.....fantastic x

A super pub cheep as chips Good food,good beer and nice and clean.

I wouldn't have gone here a couple of years ago but have been in a few times since lockdown ended and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Such a lovely atmosphere with wonderful and accomodating staff. (The toilets are spotless too! Really looking forward to trying out the massive beer garden when the weather improves : Give the place a go if you've not been in yet!
