Spartan Spice - Northumberland

I am extremely disappointed with the food I received from this restaurant. I ordered a donner kebab wrap, but what I received was not Donner meat. It looked more like shredded rat meat and was so thin that it resembled a plain tortilla wrap. The pizza dough was undercooked and inedible, and the chips were raw. When I called to complain, the restaurant staff were rude, refused a refund, and expected me to come back to collect a fresh order with a wait time of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Despite explaining that I had a young child at home and asking for delivery, they showed no remorse. The customer service was terrible and the food was so bad that I had to throw it away. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would give it a 0 rating if possible.

I would recommend that you try this gem of a take away, in particular the sizzler kebab with garlic chips

Dreadful! From the luminous RED mango sauce, lime pickle with raw peas and carrot, curdled cucumber raita with cucumber left in chunks too big...to the yellow sauce over flavoured with turmeric meaning instead of a vibrant fresh sauce you have an earthy dullness. Biryani was served with a watery curry sauce instead of a luscious vegetable curry and a chefs special with a watery sweet sauce. Absolute waste of money! Worst curry it has ever been my misfortune to order.

This restaurant is terrible. The food was served cold, tasted awful, and the customer service was terrible. I will be happy when it closes down. Do not order from here.

Tonight, I ordered their Indian pizza which included 1 balti and 1 korma pizza with chips. Unfortunately, the delivery was one hour late, which was longer than expected for a Wednesday night. When I called the store, I was told the driver wasn't there and they didn't know when he would arrive. I waited an additional 20 minutes before calling again, and was informed that the driver was on his way. The food arrived hot, but the balti sauce on the pizzas tasted off and the pizza base was undercooked. The free poppadoms were soft and chewy instead of crispy. The only good part of the meal was the chips. Overall, I was disappointed and won't be ordering from this restaurant again.
