We stopped here by chance as we really wanted to use the loo on our way to see Hadrian’s wall. The quiches on display looked amazing so we decided to stop for lunch. So glad we did. We had warmed quiche with salad, chicken and chorizo salad and cheddar savoury. Everything tasted fresh, home made and most importantly delicious. Plus the service was very friendly. The cakes looked good but we had no space left so we took some away.
A friend visited the restaurant and we jointly put this review together… as she brought me back a generous slice of breakfast quiche…Wow, it was amazing, a full English breakfast in a quiche. It was stuffed full of breakfast goodies and was absolutely delicious.
Discovered this charming café while en route to Hadrian's Wall. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was tasty with generous portions. I would recommend this spot to anyone preparing for a walk along the wall.
We have eaten here a few times and called in for a takeaway today you always get a warm welcome and a smile and the food is lovely.
