Bidra med feedbackAbove and beyond all. only back from a night in the centre of britain hotel. beautiful clean rooms, very rustic and steep in history. the employees of this hotel are the 5th star in this review. they are so friendly and accommodating; nothing was too much annoyed. they went beyond and beyond in every phase to feel welcome, including my 8 years old feel incredibly special. can't thank them enough and look forward to a future return.
This was one of my stays during a hadrians wall path walk. the hotel was very comfortable, the staff was great and very welcoming. the only problem was a broken chair that seemed to have passed several repair attempts without success. a poor chair had a clamped armrest covered by a throw. the other poor fell apart. I want to book a long break and stay as a fixed location in the hotel.
Beautiful huge room, with dining table, three piece suite and two child beds in addition to the king bed for us. Beautiful view of the city from the window and the breakfast vegan and vegetarian cooked perfectly. after a long winter walk on the mooren, with a windchill of -3°c, the jacuzzi steam bath was super, with space for a pint on the side, read a car magazine. a secret that we learned about the waitress from the kitchens was how to correctly fräht tomaten and is suitable for a complete English or scottish. great personal, especially the purer, who has a great sense of humor. highly recommended.
We really liked our first stay. beautiful clean rooms and very helpful staff. parking was good and out of the way.
Great hotel, we had a family room which was on two floors, plenty of space. We stayed over the laundry, which we enjoyed only three rooms there. Wifi hit and miss, second day couldnt connect at all. If you book breakfast you have to go outside and into the main hotel not to far to walk less than a minute. Car parking is a squeeze. Breakfast was amazing, fabulous quality, and plenty of good choices. Staff very attentive, and there when needed, no matter what time of day.
