Bettini's - Northumberland

We visit this restaurant often, and we usually find it to be a great deal. The bacon, brie, and cranberry paninis are delicious. However, one thing that bothers me is that we always order two large lattes but only receive one stamp on the loyalty card. Even when we come with friends and purchase six coffees, we still only receive one stamp. It's frustrating when loyalty doesn't seem to be valued.

This restaurant is always bustling with activity. The staff are warm and welcoming. I decided to order a coffee and a scone, but was surprised to find out they also serve meals, as they are not advertised at the counter. I was a bit disappointed since I was feeling hungry. The menus are actually on the tables in Manors shopping centre.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, particularly the quiche. It's perfect for a light snack. The cheese scones are also delicious. The staff is very friendly.

Ordered two scrambled egg on toast, once past the crust it became very mushy. We scraped the egg off to see the toast was complete mush in the centre. They must have dumped wet egg on top as the toast was completely inedible. If you do have to go here for scrambled egg, do yourself a favour and ask for it on the side of the toast. Scones were average and we felt so sick from the soggy toast we didn’t even finish the scones. £13 to walk away hungry with food left on the plates. First and last visit unfortunately.

How hard is it to get an order right? Two breakfasts, one without mushrooms, Two large lattes. Had to repeat that order a few times. I was wearing a mask but she could have said at any time she could not understand me. What we got was 2 breakfasts,one without beans, dry toast and two regular lattes. Advised waitress wrong order and I swear she was about to argue the toss until I scraped my mushrooms onto my hubby's plate and asked her to get his beans. Wasn't worth it. Runny scrambled eggs on both not sure cooked so left. I had 1 raw sausage and 1 burnt one. Truly awful. Waste of money and just left. NEVER going back!
