Bidra med feedbackI went to this restaurant with a Scoopon deal in the early evening, looking forward to ordering a large steak on the bone. However, when I ordered the Rib Eye steak, I was told they were out of it (despite there being only two other couples dining there) and the waiter did not offer any upgrade or compensate for the meal. I also ordered the scallops as an entree, but was disappointed by how small they were - each the size of a 5 cent coin. Since it was a BYO place, we brought our own drinks but the waiter did not offer to open them or provide glasses for us. When we were charged $5 for corkage without receiving any service, it felt like a rip off. Overall, this place did not care about customer experience and I cannot recommend it. I have never felt the need to write a review before, but the poor experience should be a warning to other potential customers.
The service was a bit of a mixed bag. The two servers seemed to be a bit disorganized, as we had to remind them of basic restaurant service standards. For example, they offered a bottle of tap water for the table but forgot to bring glasses. It took two trips for us to finally get our wine glasses when we requested them. Despite these hiccups, the servers were friendly and open to feedback when we suggested improvements in table setting and decor. As we were the last customers to leave, we had a chat with the servers and found out that one of them was actually the chef's brother. We complimented the chef on the outstanding food quality throughout the meal. Overall, it was a good experience. The prices were reasonable, possibly even a bit cheaper than usual, and the BYO alcohol policy was a big bonus.

Four of us went to this newly opened restaurant on a Scoopon voucher. The voucher inlcuded entree and main. We all had a seafood type entree and a steak type main. The food was excellent for both, presentation was pretty good. We also ordered the chocolate mousse for desert which was heavily laden with Cadbury's chocolate and was divine. The service was interesting. The two guys that looked after the customers seemed to be flying by the seat of their pants as we kept having to remind them of certain restaurant service standards. For instance, they offered a bottle of water for the table (which was actually terrible tasting tap water) but brought no glasses. It was a BYO alcohol restaurant (fantastic in these times) and when asked for glasses it took them 2 trips to deliver 4 glasses. We were the last to leave and on speaking to these guys, suggesting table setting advice and decor upgrade, they were very receptive to the welcoming comments. I jokingly asked of their brother was the chef and of course he was. I told them that he did an excellent job as the food throughout was fantastic.Overall, a good experience. The prices ordinarily were on par possibly a little cheaper than normal but the BYO helps immensely.
The Indian food at this restaurant is excellent. The owner and staff are wonderful. We sampled several dishes, all of which were perfectly spiced and flavored.
