A.j. Tomaiolo's - Northborough

We have not been to AJs for a number of years after a few bad experiences but decided to give it another try this evening. It was less than half full with plenty of tables available in both the bar area and restaurant. We asked for a seat in the bar area but the hostess told us we could not sit at a table at the edge of the bar area, we had to sit at one in the middle because there were only two of us and she had to keep the 4 person table for larger groups. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but it was less than half full and there were at least 10 empty 4-person tables available. No restaurant has done this before, we walked out.

Food great, however it took over half hour after we placed our order for our food to arrived. Food could have been hotter! The restaurant itself was very chilly. I don’t know why, but it was very uncomfortable. No need for not taking the chill off the air, especially at this time of year and the temperature outside. Another great dinner tonight!!! Their Veal is super tender and their red sauce is outstanding!! Always great service!! We will be back again very soon!
