The Ark Northampton

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly. We are glad we decided to dine here as the food was delicious, especially the wonderful cakes. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We were disappointed that vegan burgers were not available during the week, but we will definitely return on the weekend. The restaurant is set in a beautiful location and is very clean. We would recommend it to anyone, despite the terrible weather on the day we visited. The restaurant was warm and wheelchair accessible, with ramps and a chair lift to the toilet. It would be even better on a sunny day, as it has a rooftop terrace and a dance floor on the lower deck. This makes it perfect for private parties. We will definitely be returning as we loved it.

The Ark is an absolutely stunning cafe. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food and drinks are outstanding. Whenever I am in Northampton, I always make it a point to stop by and have a coffee at The Ark. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the view from the top deck is truly breathtaking. It's a fantastic feeling to be so connected to nature while at The Ark. I can't find anything to fault about this place. I highly recommend this cafe to everyone, whether they are vegan or not!

I am thrilled that this restaurant has reopened and I highly recommend it. The food is scrumptious, especially the vegan cheeseburgers. They offer a variety of delicious hot and cold dishes and drinks. The staff is friendly and efficient. The setting is picturesque, with peaceful views overlooking the river and park.

Wow this place is amazing. I had walked by this place for some time and seeing the boat always brought me such joy. Then when I decided to visit it, I was greeted with a smile and a hello as I entered, instantly making me feel at home. It was cold outside but so cosy inside and with the heavy falling rain it felt apt being on a boat called The Ark! So I ordered some food, an amazingly tasty curry. Omg I “woofed” it into me. I almost ordered a second haha. But decided just to have some cake and a freshly ground coffee. Again the cake was amazing and quickly I gave it a good home. Since then I return most weekends and I’ve been working my way through the menu. Not once have I been disappointed as each and every time the food has been amazing (oops did I say amazing already? . However it’s not the amazing food nor the unique venue that is the star attraction! For me the star attraction is the wonderfully welcoming family that own this place! Hard working and skilful in their trade, you can’t help but adore them. Also I must give a shout out to the other customers that enjoy the food and venue, I have made some lovely friends. Hey ok so I’m not totally vegan but it doesn’t matter here, if you love food, if you love friendly service and you love a unique place to sit back and relax, then you’ll love The Ark!
