Medieval Fort - Northampton

Fantastic food, lovely ambience, very friendly and helpful staff. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, fantastic food and atmosphere, can’t recommend it highly enough!

The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the wild boar and steak. Even the chips had a tasty spice to them. The service provided by Rafa was outstanding - he was attentive and made our entire family feel welcome.

The restaurant had excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. They also had live jazz music. The steak tartare was delicious. I requested a special concoction of tea with lemon, orange, honey, and they happily made it for me, even though it wasn't on the menu.

Located in the heart of Northampton, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The medieval-themed decor, featuring armor and weaponry hanging on the walls, immediately captures your attention. Despite the somewhat expensive prices on the menu, the quality of the food is absolutely worth it. The selection of dishes is impressive and the service provided by our waiter, Rafa, was exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and accommodating, he truly went above and beyond for us and other guests. I even had the opportunity to play the grand piano in the dining room, thanks to him. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was incredible. From the hosts to the food, everything was top-notch. Don't hesitate to visit this place, it's definitely worth your time!
