Kebabish Original - Northampton

Amazing service by the team at Al Fairoz, specially the owner. The food was on point.. Defo recommend this place. Lovely seating area and a nice family atmosphere. Thank you

I arrived late and hungry after a day travelling and working. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a biryani and channa masala, which were both excellent. The spicing is authentic and the meal very tasty. The dining is informal, relaxed cafe style. The pricing is cheap to reasonable £15 for two courses and a drink). If I’m ever back in Northampton then I’ll definitely drop in again to try the grill.

I visited Al Fairoz today with my friend. We had our main meal of the day here. She had chicken biryani and I had chicken curry with boiled rice. The food was really tasty and the chicken was nicely cooked, succulent and perfectly spiced. The helpings were generous. Dishes were delightful and the ambience was friendly and courteous service was enjoyed throughout. I hope to visit there again soon and would recommend this to a friend who might like to visit Northampton and who wanted to know where to find a good place to eat.

Ive ordered from here on numerous of occasions the food was nice before the new management and people took over!! I has complained about how much salt was used in their vegetable curries! I am being ignored and today my veg curry arrived again very salty despite we had told them not to add in any salt. The colour of the veg curry has totally changed to bottle green. My curries had never looked like this before the vegetable curries used to be a lighter colour and this one is full of green spinach. It has so much spinach in theres no curry sauce and it was just a thick awful mess! I cannot eat it and threw it in my bin! Looked awful had just a taste of it. Im never coming back to this place again they dont know how much salt to put in their food at all. A total health hazard and ive never had a curry with this much salt before in other take aways and restaurants. NEVER AGAIN i will not be coming back to this place again for our food!!!! Thats it!!! No one listens here !!! The people and chefs has changed without telling customers that they now have a new management or team!!! A few weeks ago we came here they left half of our order and they we took the bus home then my husband had to go back to town by bus again to tell them they left our order out what terrible service !!!

Went to ge some food from this place I have eaten here quite a few times the food was nicely prepared on my recent visit I noticed they had decorated the place I asked if they were under new management the girl said no everything was the same it’s her dads restaurant but her and her brother ms hAve decided to get involved iam a diebetic I am giving a glass that’s caked in sugar around the edges I asked the girl to give me a plain glass she saying I won’t taste the sugar the tumblers they were using looked tacky with this sugar in the edges I noticed that I had 8 plates on my table when there was only 2 of us lathe table felt so crowded I ordered the baby chicken and chips the chips had changed to the fresh fries that went cold so quick my chicken was awful not like what I was used to eating on previous visits the chicken was fresh with a funny smell of what ever it was cooked on it was tasteless I coo not eat it I told one of the guys who said he would adjust my bill well he gave me £2 off my bill wow J noticed that the guy who do the cooking were still there I asked one of them if the wSy they do their chicken had changed he said yes I said I knew it had it was awful if your going to change your restaurants decor you need to let your customers know that the food has changed instead of offering a £2 refund to a hungry customer who is totally unaware of your changes because your staff has failed to mention it or even put up a sign addressing any changes so be aware guys the Kebabish menu we were used to does not taste as good very dissatisfied with the way I was treated
