Fantastic atmosphere with great food, would highly recommend. management is looking forward to my nutritional requirements.

Stopped for a Saturday night, made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are good clean and comfy, good pub food, breakfast spot on and a great pint of Black Sheep. Definitely stay again.

Went on a Tuesday Night for the Pub Quiz. Beer was good and there was a good atmosphere. Only suggestion is the Pub Quiz would have been more at home in the 90s than in 2021! But that may just be me being a sore loser.

A Great,Comfy Cyclist Friendly village Inn. Visited after lockdown whilst travelling up the country. Lovely food and drink and lovely clean rooms. Many thanks for the warm welcome.

This is a lovely pub which is not too far off the A19, they serve excellent food here with well kept beers and ales, they also have rooms that will fill up rapidly in summer months. It is not the cheapest pub you will ever go into but the prices reflect the amount of care taken to get the atmosphere, the quality and presentation of the food and the service just right. The staff are warm and friendly as well as well presented and knowledgeable of their environment and the menu!
