Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is clean and nicely arranged. It is unlike most viet restaurant that have a rushed family atmosphere. We went at 1:30 so it's quiet. We ordered pho, hue style noodles and rice. Depending on the dish, it can be good or bad. The pho's meat have strong smell and old. The beef ball is also old. Contrary, the hue style noodle was good. The bbq pork on the rice was too sweet.Note: the restaurant included tips on their bill, so you don't need to add additional tips. They gave us a dessert as a gift on the way out. The flan was very tasty fluffy and creamy.I recommend this restaurant but be mindful of the dish chosen. Perhaps order pho on a busy day then you will have more fresh ingredients.
Come here if you want to get ripped off. Beware the hidden service charges and the double dipping when tipping my $23 meal ended up coming to over $32 after tax, hidden service charges and a 15% tip, almost DOUBLE the original cost.First, I got hit with a 10% service charge on the subtotal and it was never disclosed. No signs anywhere and staff never mentions this. If this is to compensate for using a credit card, I was never advised which I would have paid in cash instead. Furthermore this is in violation of their payment processor agreement when taking credit card payments, like all restaurants that do this.Next, when I got the prompt to tip on the POS terminal, I instinctively selected 15%, not knowing I was tipping on the TOTAL of the bill instead of the SUBTOTAL. So this means they make you tip on the tax AND the service charge that was snuck in that you didn't know about! Highly deceptive business practices. My fault for rushing out and not paying attention. Turned my first visit of an average experience to terrible regret.
The place is never open. Hours indicate 11am to 8pm. Been there twice between 11:30 noon, with the open sign flashing away and the lights on but the door closed locked. No answer on the phone. Why even stay in business if you're not open when people want to get food. Useless!
Went here for lunch and it wasn’t crowded. Only a few people were dining in. The servers were nice and gave me a free tea.Had their rice with 2 pork chops which were so-so. Nothing too special but they were good enough to be shared if you’re a light eater. It was grilled and it tasted too sweet for my liking. Same with the vinegar it came with.Place was clean and good enough for a large crowd. I guess I should’ve gotten their pho instead then maybe I would’ve had a better experience. Also, note that they have a 10% service charge which I think is not that bad.
Authentic and flavourful menu for the whole family. Attentive and friendly service with clean and well kept interior and furniture. Always a satisfying experience at Pho Toronto!
