Bidra med feedbackI was surprised to see that it has been over five years since anyone has reviewed this restaurant. I visited tonight and had a pleasant conversation with Alberto, who seems to be the owner and chef. He is passionate about his Guatemalan cuisine and was helpful in explaining the menu to us. The waitress was a bit hard to understand once Alberto returned to the kitchen to cook for us. It seemed like he was preparing everything from scratch, as it took a while for our food to arrive, and we were the only customers in the restaurant. Despite the wait, the food was very good overall. One of my friends thought her pork Adobade was a bit fatty, but my chicken in green tomato sauce was delicious. Although the restaurant had three televisions, they were all turned off. The restaurant serves tasty Central American dishes and the staff are friendly.
This restaurant is amazing! They greeted me with a juice box when I arrived and the stylist who did my girlfriend's hair did an incredible job! The total cost for her haircut and wash was $35.
I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday night after work. I arrived around 5:30pm without a reservation and only had to wait 10-15 minutes.
I called in today afternoon and booked an appointment for tonight at 6:30I went there, this place was packed.
Amazed that no-one has reviewed this for over five years. Went there tonight and had a very nice chat with Alberto, who appears to be the owner and the cook. He is a big supporter of his native Guatemalan cuisine, and he was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The waitress was a bit difficult to understand once Alberto went back to the kitchen, and cooked everything for us.He must have been cooking the whole thing from scratch, because it took a long time for the food to come, and the five of us were the only people in the place eating. We were wondering what was going on for a while, but when the food came it was on the whole very good. One of my colleagues found her pork Adobade (sp)? pretty fatty, but my chicken in green tomato sauce was very tasty. They had three televisions, but thankfully they all were off.Solid Central American fare, served by friendly people.
